The Tree of Life
There are 10 specific meanings put into this piece of art, 5 of which are represented by the fruit. I’d love to hear your interpretation of this piece.
An element that I was unable to capture with the camera, is that the background grid lines are silver. The grid lines are warped and clamor for your attention, seeking to draw your attention away from the tree. Using reflective silver adds an effect that, depending on where you stand, light reflects off the lines in different ways, always strivings to grab your focus.
The leafy area of the tree is made up of the continents and isles of the world. For the gospel is intended to bless the lives of all inhabitants, past, present, and future of our world. Though not every island of the sea are represented, all larger islands are included. Can you find Hawaii?
